Offset and Digital Book Printing
Run length decides the press, not the other way round. We quote both routes from one prepared file so the choice is a cost comparison rather than a commitment, and the colour target stays the same whichever press the job lands on.

Questions
Questions we are asked
- Which route is cheaper for my run?
- Below roughly 500 copies digital almost always wins, and above about 1,500 offset does. Between the two it depends on extent, colour coverage and stock, so we quote both and show the crossover.
- Can you match a previous printing?
- Send a copy of the earlier printing with the order. We measure it, set the target from the sample rather than from the file alone, and note any shift the current stock makes unavoidable.
